Crackers With Pickled Jalapeno

I have become so hooked on these tiny Jalapeno peppers that I’m using them in all my recipes. Recently bought a few pounds of Jalapeno peppers and pickled so that I can use them anytime. Pickling was easy, just deep fried them in oil and sprinkled salt and stored shrinked peppers in a dry jar. We eat them with everything…even with curd rice. I must say the combination is heavenly.

Here is an appetizer that I made using Jalapeno peepers and cheddar cheese with sesame crackers. These are very simple to make, infact I had to think twice before posting such an easy appetizer recipe but anyway…I had to share it.

For making these you require crackers, chedder cheese, and pickled Jalapeno peppers.

For serving, use a vegetable peeler to peal slices of cheese and place them on top of the cracker. Chop some peppers and place it on top of the cheese. Microwave it for few seconds so that all the ingredients stick to each other. Enjoy!

Update: sending this snack recipe to Party Treats event hosted by Sara.

OK, this is our favorite snack, the only difference is that we use jarred pickled jalapeno (store bought). Lovely trying it at home :)

Waah! Kya snack hai. I am hoping at least this will motivate me to buy crackers instead of Pure Magic cream biscuits. Mumbai farsaan shops are flooded with diet food, you know. Diet khakra, roasted chiwda, low claorie thepla...(none of them taste nice, you know)so on and so forth. But i have my funda. You either eat good tasty stuff, or you dont eat at all. Probably, this will change my mind! By the way, fried jalapenos with curd rice, reminds me of this heavenly thing called "thair molagai". Very common in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
